Post natal personal trainer Dubai — mum training at home

Looking for a post natal personal trainer Dubai mothers can actually fit around a baby? Y Fitness DXB brings certified coaches to your home, so there is no gym to get to, no childcare to arrange, and no need to be anywhere at a fixed time. Your first session is completely free.

When Can You Start Training Again?

After your postnatal check and with your doctor’s clearance — not before. Every pregnancy and every birth is different, and the honest answer to “how soon” comes from the person who looked after you, not from us. Once you have that clearance, tell your coach exactly what you were told and they will work inside it.

If you had a caesarean, say so when you book. The timeline is usually longer and the first weeks look different, and your coach needs to know before the first session rather than halfway through it.
Your post-natal coach: Coach Rita Dobro holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Rehabilitation and specialises in pre- and post-natal training, and she also coaches in Russian and Ukrainian. Meet our pre and post-natal personal trainer.

What the First Sessions Look Like

Not what most people picture. Early postnatal sessions are quiet, slow and mostly about reconnecting with your breathing, your deep core and your posture — the things that carried a pregnancy and have not been asked to do much since. Expect breathing work, gentle glute and back strengthening, and walking before anything that resembles a workout.

From there we build gradually: bodyweight strength, then light resistance, then whatever you actually want to get back to. Some mothers want to run again. Some want to lift a toddler and a car seat without their back complaining. Both are a real goal and both take a plan.

Post Natal Personal Trainer Dubai — At Home, With the Baby There

Your coach comes to you, so the baby stays where they are. If they need feeding mid-session we stop. If they sleep through it, we carry on. Most of our postnatal clients train in their living room with the baby in the room, and that is by far the easiest way to be consistent in the first year — see how our home personal training works.

We also have certified female personal trainers available, which most postnatal clients prefer. Say which you would like when you message us.

If You Have Been Told You Have Abdominal Separation

Tell your coach, and bring whatever your doctor or physiotherapist advised. We are coaches, not clinicians — we will work within their guidance and leave out anything they have told you to avoid, and if something does not feel right during a session we stop and send you back to them. We will not promise to fix it.

What About Losing the Weight?

It comes, and it comes faster when strength and sleep are handled first. Pushing hard on fat loss in the first months while running on broken sleep usually backfires. We build the base first and then, when you are ready, the same approach as our weight loss training applies.

Training also tends to help how you feel day to day — energy, sleep and mood. It is not a treatment for postnatal depression, and if you are struggling with your mood, please speak to your doctor. A coach is not a substitute for that.

Frequently Asked Questions

How soon after birth can I train?
After your postnatal check and once your doctor has cleared you. That is usually around six to eight weeks for an uncomplicated birth and longer after a caesarean, but your doctor decides, not us.

Can the baby be there?
Yes, and usually is. We train around feeds and naps rather than expecting you to work around us.

Do I need equipment?
No. Your coach brings what is needed, and the early sessions need almost nothing anyway.

Can I have a female coach?
Yes. We have certified female personal trainers available across Dubai.

I gave birth two years ago. Is it too late?
No. Plenty of our clients start a year or two later, and the same starting point applies — core, posture and strength first.
