Looking for a boxing trainer Dubai residents can train with properly — not a class where nobody corrects your technique? Y Fitness DXB brings certified boxing coaches to your home, your building gym, a park or any gym in Dubai. Your coach brings the pads and gloves. Your first session is completely free.
What a Boxing Session Actually Involves
Every session is one-to-one, so every punch gets watched and corrected. A typical hour runs like this:
- Warm-up and footwork — skipping, movement drills, getting the shoulders and hips ready
- Technique — stance, guard, jab, cross, hook, uppercut, slips and rolls, built up in order rather than all at once
- Pad work — combinations on the pads with your coach, which is where the conditioning really happens
- Conditioning — rounds of bodyweight and core work between pad rounds
- Cool-down — stretching and a short review of what to work on next time
Tell your coach whether you want to work towards sparring or stay on pads and bag work — plenty of clients never spar at all and still get everything out of the training.
Cardio Boxing in Dubai
If you are looking for cardio boxing classes in Dubai but would rather not join a room of thirty people, this is the same workout done one-to-one. The pace stays high, the rounds keep coming, and your heart rate does the work — but the combinations are matched to what you can actually hit cleanly, so you build technique instead of flailing at a bag. Most people find it harder than a class and easier on the joints than running.
Boxing for Weight Loss
Boxing burns a lot for an hour of work, and it holds people’s attention in a way that a treadmill does not — which matters more than the calorie number, because the sessions you actually turn up for are the ones that change anything. Pair it with the strength and nutrition side and it works well: see our weight loss personal training for how we structure that.
Boxing Classes for Women in Dubai
A good share of our boxing clients are women, and many prefer to train at home or in their building gym rather than a boxing gym. We have certified female personal trainers available, and male coaches who train women every week. Say which you would prefer when you message us.
Want a female coach? Train with Coach Gannat, a former African and UAE martial arts champion and our female boxing coach in Dubai.
Never Boxed Before?
That describes most people who start with us. The first session is spent on stance and the jab, not on hitting anything hard. There is no sparring, no pressure and nobody watching. You will be tired, you will not be embarrassed.
Boxing Coach Dubai — Where We Train
Our boxing coaches cover Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah, JBR, Downtown Dubai, DIFC, Business Bay, Dubai Hills, JVC, Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim — at home, outdoors, in your building gym or at any gym you already use.
What You Need to Bring
Nothing. Your coach brings the pads and gloves. Wear something you can move in and bring water. If you would rather use your own gloves once you are training regularly, ask your coach what to buy before you spend anything — the wrong gloves are a waste of money and a sore wrist.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any boxing experience?
No. Most of our clients start having never thrown a punch. The first sessions are technique, not intensity.
Do I have to spar?
No. Sparring is optional and most clients never do it. Pad work and bag work give you the fitness and the skill without it.
Do you bring the equipment?
Yes. Your coach brings pads and gloves to every session.
Can I train at home?
Yes. Boxing needs very little space — a clear area of a couple of metres is enough for pad work. It is one of the easiest sessions to run in a living room or on a balcony.
Is boxing good for weight loss?
It burns well and, more importantly, people keep doing it. Combined with strength work and sensible eating it is one of the more effective options.
Do you have female boxing coaches?
We have certified female personal trainers available. Tell us your preference when you book and we will match you.
